Journeyman

IBEW local 291 has over 600 state licensed journey persons trained in all aspects of the electrical field with membership continually growing. Some areas we cover are:

• Construction and maintenance of residential, commercial, and industrial projects.
• Power line distribution and transmission.

We have many electricians trained in the following areas:

• Nicet certified fire alarm installers
• Osha 10/30 hour certificates
• Supervisor training
• First aid&CPR certificates
• Job steward training
• Instrument installation and calibration

Our training facility also offers upgrade classes including but not limited to:

• Conduit bending
• Motor control
• Code updates
